GALV TECH WELD COPPER is a new anti-corrosion product, particularly suited to "weld through" applications. The advanced conductivity of the copper particles improves the weldability in all situations including MIG/MAG, "Stick" and "Spot" welding. This facility is particularly suited to many of the new "single side" spot welders which can tend to be more sensitive to conventional weld through primers.
GALV TECH WELD COPPER is a high copper-flake coating which has the advantage of a new high quality synthetic resin which protects the copper from corrosive influences. The copper flake provides a highly conductive surface for the weld, while the advanced resin protects the copper from corrosion. This is particularly important with this type of coating as "open" copper products can tend to provide little long-term protection, and can sometimes even assist the "rusting" by way of bi-metallic corrosion.
GALV TECH WELD COPPER adheres firmly on all metal and other firm surfaces, is economical in use and fast drying. It is also excellent for installation and decorative purposes. GALV TECH WELD COPPER can also be used in conjunction with GALV TECH ZINC SPRAY to give full galvanize quality cathodic protection to all metal surfaces.
