GALV TECH ZINC SPRAY is the pre-eminent anti corrosive product, designed for (1) The repair and renovation of damaged zinc surfaces on pre-galvanized steel components and (2) Cathodic protection for bare metals, particularly steel. With over 90% zinc in the dry film and 98.5% pure zinc particles, this product offers genuine cathodic protection on bare metals as well as pre-galvanized materials, to the highest European standards in its class. This product also has the advantage of new manufacturing technology in both the processing of the zinc particles and resin binders giving improved stability and performance to the resultant coating. GALV TECH ZINC SPRAY not only provides cathodic protection to bare metals, it joins our ALU ZINC in this new generation of zinc based products, the first to provide positive corrosion protection in salt spray tests to 240 hr# duration.
GALV TECH ZINC SPRAY can be over-coated with ALU ZINC, giving a finish similar to that achieved with hot-dip galvanizing. Providing excellent electrical corrosion protection and allowing spot welding completely, it may also be over-painted with succeeding artificial resin or oil based finishing coats. Used as a priming coat, GALV TECH ZINC SPRAY is especially suitable for objects that are highly exposed to corrosion, for instance steel structures, agriculture, marine and automotive applications
