ZINC COATING AND GALVANISE REPAIR PRODUCTS

Please note: Repairs to hot dip galvanizing

  1. ALU-ZINC BRUSHABLE. Advanced corrosion protection for all metal surfaces. Thixotropic formulation with "ZINC FLAKE" technology provides superior protection with a finish similar to hot dip galvanizing. Also adheres well to wood, plastics, ceramics, glass etc. Overpaintable Appearance- Medium/bright Available in 250/750ml +2.5/200 ltr

  2. ALU ZINC SPRAY. Corrosion protection in an aerosol. Material base as ALU ZINC BRUSHABLE

  3. COLD GALV. Probably the shiniest galvanize repair product available- with zinc in. Cold Galv chemically etches into the treated surface thus preventing corrosion. May be used as a wood preservative. Appearance- Bright + Available in 500ml aerosol and 5 ltr

  4. BRIGHT GALV FINISH. High temperature bright finish. Similar to hot dip galvanizing fresh from the bath. Has been used successfully on the galvanizing whilst still hot! Excellent cosmetic effect, however should be used with LIQUID ZINC/SPRAY for full cathodic protection. Appearance- Bright Available in 400ml aerosol

  5. LIQUID ZINC. Corrosion protection with a capital "C". Applicable by brush, roller or spraygun without dilution. Genuine cathodic protection for bare metals. Repair for galvanized components. Primer for spot-welding. Overpaintable. Appearance- Grey Available in250/750ml + 2.5/200 ltr

  6. ZINC SPRAY. Aerosol version of Liquid Zinc. Quick drying, excellent coverage. Tested to 240 hours in salt spray to DIN standards with no corrosion (single coat). Complies with all European galvanize repair requirements. Over-paintable Appearance Grey. Available in 400ml (approx 600g) aerosol.

  7. ZINC SHEEN As ZINC SPRAY, but with a small replacement of aluminium to give a light sheen to the surface. Similar to hot dip galvanizing after light weathering. Will gradually weather along with the galvanizing. Over-paintable. Appearance- Low/ medium sheen Available in 400ml (approx 580g)

  8. ZINC STICK 99 +% pure Zinc. Suitable for application whilst coating is still molten. Avoids necessity for re-dipping for minor marks. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SUBSEQUENT REPAIRS as re-heating the component can damage the original coating
