GALV TECH ALU ZINC BRUSHABLE is a specially formulated product, designed for the repair of damaged zinc surfaces on pre-galvanized steel components. With a carefully balanced blend of zinc and aluminium particles, which closely match the original hot dip galvanize colour, this product has the advantage of new manufacturing technology and is the first in a new generation of zinc based products to provide positive corrosion protection in salt spray tests to 240 hour* duration.
GALV TECH ALU ZINC BRUSHABLE may also be used over Zinc spray/paste, giving full cathodic protection to untreated metal surfaces and may be over-painted with succeeding artificial resin or oil based finishing coats. Suitable for application by brush, roller and spray, it provides excellent electrical corrosion protection, allows spot welding completely and gives better protection in MIG welded seams than conventional coatings.
