GALV TECH ANTI SPATTER LIQUID has been especially formulated to prevent the adhesion of weld spatter in the areas adjacent to MIG/Arc welded seams or joints. This formulation was designed to achieve this without the normal problems associated with type of application, particularly non-adhesion of subsequent coatings, i.e. over-painting, metal spraying or hot-dip galvanizing, without the requirement of special pre-treatments.
The formulation is free from chlorinated solvents and other constituents that may be considered harmful/hazardous to health. GALV TECH ANTI SPATTER is also free from silicone and mineral oils. There are, therefore, no health damaging decomposition by- products produced during the welding process. The product also contains a light degreasing agent to assist in the removal of existing contaminants from the surface of the welded material. This, combined with the short term corrosion inhibitors, ensures a minimum requirement for extra care after the welding process has been completed
